This ToS has been modified for furry-paws.com commissions. It is only relevant if the commission is taken via this website.
General
- I can draw almost any animal, although my comfort zone is canines. I can draw ferals, anthros, or humans.
- A clear reference, a set of reference images, or a detailed written description must be provided. Any mistakes made on the final version due to incorrect or missing information will not be my fault.
- Discussion about the commission will occur over the private messaging system. It can be moved to email if necessary. All communication will be written and web-based.
- I must have permission to draw all of the characters depicted from their owners.
- My signature and/or watermark must remain on any and all images I provide.
- I have the right to refuse any commission without explanation.
- For two characters in one image, the price doubles. For three, the price triples. No more than three characters in a single image.
- Modifications can be made to the Terms of Service. However, any changes must be decided and agreed upon by both parties before any work is started.
Payments
- Payment in USD will be through Paypal. Unless otherwise stated, it will be sent to [email protected]. Please send as payment for "Service."
- Include your username and a brief description of what you ordered in the email that accompanies Paypal transfers. (For example: "Sent by Suze on FP for shaded large art of Nila walking." Something like that.)
- Snail mail is possible on orders over $10, but will be decided by me. This is not automatic.
- Full payment will be sent upfront unless otherwise agreed upon for large projects.
Deadlines and Edits
- Estimated turn around time is 1-2 weeks after payment is sent.
- Please wait at least one week after ordering to ask for a progress update. Do not pester me by asking multiple times a day.
- Deadlines must be decided before work is started on the commission.
- Rush fees may be applied at my discretion. If the deadline is missed and I am at fault, this fee will be refunded. It will not be refunded for deadlines missed due to nonresponsive customers.
- All clients are shown a sketch of their commission to be approved. At this stage, three rounds of edits (both major and minor*) are free; the rest will have an added fee.
- After the sketch stage, I continue on to finish the work. Once finished, only one round of minor* edits is free; others will have an added fee. No major edits are allowed.
- Any errors that are my fault can be fixed free of charge.
- Additional stages can be shown upon request. Additional fees may apply.
- I have final say with regards to edits and revisions at any stage.
* "Minor" edits are defined as small edits, such as changing a colour, adding earrings, or changing any other small details. "Major" edits are those that require a large redraw, such as repositioning a body part, changing an outfit, or a complete redraw of the work.
Refunds
- Refunds may be requested at any time. Please contact only me if you wish to recieve one.
- Refunds will be determined by how much work as already been finished. You will be given what has been completed up until the point of refund.
- Artist cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the reasons for cancellation.
Rights
- For sketches, lines, and bases: Cannot be resold in original format without direct permission from me.
- For tags, references, and other misc. art: Cannot be resold in original format. Can be traded with characters or gifted to other players, so long as no money is exchanged.
- For characters I've created: Can be resold, but for equal or less than what you bought it for. Can be traded and revamped.
- You do not pay for the rights to the image, just the service. Therefore, you cannot resell the artwork without written permission from me (see above 3 points). If you wish to do this, added fees will apply. You may post the artwork where you want to, but credit must be given to me and I must know where it's posted. You may not edit the artwork (either yourself or via another person) unless I give you written permission. You may not enter it into any contests without my permission. Additional fees may apply.
- I may display your commission as I wish. I may enter it into contests; however, I will not resell any images depicting your character. I may use your commission to promote my art services.
